stock updates via DB, not manual or WOO API

    Hi, first of all thanks for the wonderful plugin ??

    Q: the stock data in my webshop is updated by an external process syncing Woo with an ERP, via direct DB operations (MySQL update postmeta ‘_stock’, ‘_stock_status’, etc.), since the Woo Rest API is basically a snail.

    Does your plugin works by periodically fetching the stock data from postmeta (and when _stock > 0 fire email), or do you have action / filter hooks in place to be notified by Woo when the stock changes?

    if latter (which makes my webshop not compatible with your plugin), do you have yourself any action / filter hook I can fire to trigger yours?

    Good Day!

    Thank you for your appreciation!

    We’re here to assist you with this one.

    We already have an option to support third-party inventory management in our plugin. Go to Admin Dashboard -> Instock Notifier -> Settings -> Troubleshoot Settings (Experimental) -> Enable this option if you have updated the stock from a third-party inventory plugin.

    That option will check the stock status/quantity in the background every five minutes and send back in-stock emails as applicable.
