    Hello

After an order is placed and completed the stock of the variation is updated backend but does not update in front.

If it has 0 stock in front it shows as in stock until I save the variation in product edit.

This is not a cache related issue as it happens also when logged in as admin.

    We are working with WPML.

    Thank you,

    Eran

    Hello @eran1820,

    Thank you for reaching out!

Just to confirm, have you recently updated the out-of-stock threshold value in WooCommerce → Settings → Product → Inventory?

If you have, then this is due to a known issue where the new global out-of-stock threshold value won’t be respected until you republish the product.

You can find the full bug report here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/37747

Look forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello

Thank you for getting back ??

I see the value is 2 n my site so I guess my client changed it.

So, What is the solution for this?

I don’t see it in GitHub report link

    Hi there @eran1820 ??

I see the value is 2 n my site so I guess my client changed it.

So, What is the solution for this?

Kindly test with the following, as a next step:

    • Temporarily deactivate WPML, and see if the issue persists, or otherwise
    • For a given product, go ahead with republishing it, and see if the issue persists, or otherwise

Let us know how it goes, please.

I don’t see it in GitHub report link

Kindly check the Steps to reproduce section, in the reported issue, linked here.

    I hope this is helpful!

So, You believe the issue is from WPML?

    Hello @eran1820,

So, You believe the issue is from WPML?

This depends on whether you’re affected by the mentioned bug. If not, then indeed, the issue might stem from a plugin conflict, possibly involving WPML or any other active plugin.

To verify, could you please take a random product and update its stock to 1? Afterwards, navigate to WooCommerce → Settings → Products → Inventory and set the out-of-stock threshold also to one.

If, upon checking the front end, you find the product displayed as ‘In Stock’, it’s likely related to the mentioned issue.

Placing a test order isn’t directly related here. The global out-of-stock threshold setting will just not take effect until you re-publish the product. As a workaround, you can simply re-publish all products using the bulk editor.
