Stop 2011 theme from downsizing pictures?

  • I am a photographer and trying to use the 2011 theme to display pictures. Every time I add a picture it gets downsized to 569px wide NO MATTER WHAT!

    How can I change that – I want full width 1000px images to display.

  • in admin panel under setting>media

    It’s gonna take more than that

    Due to the content width margins, padding, etc, you would need to reconfigure the entire way pages are displayed in 2011

    You’d need to make a child theme for 2011, and then start plugging away at the css.
