Stop auto-embed?

Is there a way to keep everything working in admin, but not auto embed into and front-end pages/posts etc?EDIT
I think this request can be ignored. I’ve been playing around with several attachment plugins and I think things have gone a bit wrong!
I’ve uninstalled them all and BWA seems to be fine again ??
