Stop auto v3.0 update

  • Hello,

    I have twice now rejected the v3.0 update as we are happy with what we have with v2.3.1. The Auto updates of the plugin is set to disabled but STILL, SupportCandy keeps updating it to v3.0 rendering our support ticket system unavailable.

    Why is this despite wordpress saying auto updates were disabled and how do I stop the auto update?

    There is no code available in the plugin related to this. Auto-update and update is WordPress’s job, and we do not interfere with it.

    I am experiencing the same problem. No clue why Support Candy is refreshing every night after I restore an older version. If you find the reason, please post here.

    As follow up, I found out that my website host, Midphase, has a setting which was turned on to auto update plugins, which supercedes the WP settings. Their admin turned it off.
    Problem solved.
