We don’t do this. This is how the WordPress itself works.

If you do plugin update, WordPress just deletes ALL files from the folder and then uploads new.

If you like, you can send us your translated files, we include them to the package (and give you the credit in description), otherwise you will need to re-upload them with each update.

Again, this is general WordPress functionality, we have no way of altering it.

This is true but have you considered looking in wp-content for translation files named wp-content/next-scripts/lang/some-filename-here (as an example)?

When the plugin gets upgraded the old plugin directory and all it’s contents do get deleted. But if you can optionally look elsewhere and put that into your plugin readme.txt file then that may save users some aggravation.

NOTE: Keep in mind that I’ve never tried internationalization of any code and have no idea if that’s a viable idea or not. ??
