  • Hey,

here , too. We′re started our site a few days ago and now there are more than thousand empty event-Pages within Google-Index.

What does this has for consequences?

Should we have to block the calendar-directory inside the robots.txt and ask Google to erase them from index or is it better to let them stay?

What exactly does this mean for SEO?

    Thanks for help, best regards

We try to indicate to search bots that empty pages (such as future/past days with no events) should not be indexed. Can you link to your site @simonhunter so we can see if this is not in place or is being overridden in the context of your site?

    Thanks!

Here is the link inside. It starts from this searchpage on for 1500 pages..

Hi Barry – thanks for your response! We have disabled the plugin for the moment because we couldn’t figure out what was going on, so I’m not sure if that’s going to help. The site is https://www.boroondarabreastfeeding.com.au/

@simonhunter in that case no, there’s no point in reviewing your site I’m afraid.

@bbindikator: please respect the guidelines in the forum welcome and create a new thread of your own. If you could link to your site and the main events page in particular that would be useful, rather than linking to a page of search engine results (I’m guessing https://balance-circle.de is your site but could not locate any events – remember we are not familiar with all languages here!).

Hey, it′s no problem. But please can you erase the direct link to my Website in this Topic?!

I cannot, I’m afraid – the edit link is no longer available, but if you can attract the attention of a forum moderator I am completely happy for them to go ahead and remove it.

Apologies for that, I didn’t realize your URL was a secret and thought you were instead trying to highlight something about how those results were displaying.
