• At some point I set up something somewhere so that every time I make a blog post it automatically puts a post on Facebook and Twitter.

Unfortunately, it does not include any info that might incite people to go read the post/review/preview/article.

And I end up duplicating the post with something that actually provides some teaser content.

Where would I go in my Dashboard to find where that setting is and turn it OFF, so I can just manually go to Twitter and Facebook and create more interesting posts with links to my blog?

    Thanks

  • Hi tspnyc,

The functionality you’re describing is not included with WordPress out-of-the-box, so a plugin is most likely the culprit.

Do you have any social plugins (e.g. Facebook or Social Media Auto Publish) installed? If so, I’d look into what kind of configurations they come with and go from there.

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks!

    I found it under Settings/Sharing!
