My website has four top level pages that I want to be on the menu, but every time I create a new child level page, it gets automatically added to the top level menu and I have to go into the menu page and remove it. It just extra work that I don;t like because it takes additional steps and time. I don’t want new pages to be added to the menu. I will add them manually if I want to. How do I stop a new page from automatically being added to the menu?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

When you’re editing the menu, look at the bottom of the screen under ‘Menu Settings’. There’s a checkbox there for ‘Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu’. Un-check that and save the menu, and nothing new will be automatically added.
