stop order when weight is exceeded

    Hi!
    I have made a table rate with weight from 0 – 20 kg. When a package exceeds 20 kg, the customer needs to contact the vendor to discuss what freight option to use.

    In the cart it says there is no freight options and the freight will be calculated i the checkout.Then i’ts possible to proceed with the order and no freight will be added (FREE).

    I want orders over 20 kg to be stopped and that the customer can’t proceed with the order.
    I also would like my own text in swedish about contacting the vendor about the freight options.

    I understand that this is possible in the PRO version, but I can’t figure out how to make this happen.

    The individual shipping quote functionality is not available either in the Flexible Shipping free or PRO version yet, however, good news – you’re asking your question just in time since we’re already working on it. We’re currently analyzing all the insights and the feedback we receive to learn more about Flexible Shipping plugin users’ needs on this matter.

    If I understood everything correctly you want the notice informing to contact the seller to be displayed in the cart/checkout once the defined weight threshold is reached. The notice should be customizable and if the cart total weight exceeds 20 kg it should prevent the order from being placed – did I get it right?

    Should such shipping quote or unfinished order be saved somehow in your shop and be able to finalize/place once the shipping cost is confirmed by the shop staff?

    We’d really appreciate your feedback to ensure we develop our plugin in the right direction.
