    Hi, we are using the notification x to display recent purchases from our customers. Works awesome, but I have had a complaint about the user clicking X to close on the product page, but it still pops up on other pages including checkout.

    I have reviewed my settings and cannot find anything about disabling when closed. Also I have setup to display on ‘Every Page’ how can I just specify product pages only not checkout etc?

    Is this possible?

    Thank you.

    Hi @chvtech,

    We’re really sorry for the inconvenience caused. But it should not pop up if any user close it by clicking on x button. Please make sure you’re using the latest version of NotificationX. If the issue still exists please create a support ticket here, so we could investigate.

    And you can hide/display on a specific page using page IDs. But this is our pro feature actually. Please check this out: https://d.pr/i/Oip8ML

    Thank you!

    Thanks @tushar284 – is it possible to make the clickable area for the X larger? I have made the X font size larger, but the clickable space seems small, and users keep geting sent to the promoted product, I think this is the main reason we are seeing some complaints.

    I will check out the pro version also!

    Thanks ??

    Hi @chvtech,

    Please add this CSS in your stylesheet:

    .notificationx-close svg {
    width: 20px !important;
    height: 20px !important;
    }

    This will increase the size of the close X button. Increase/Decrease the value of 20 according to your requirement.

    Thanks!

    Hi there, we made the X bigger, but it is very easy to miss it and go into the displayed product. We have found in some cases it will popup again. No fix from us anyways, sorry!

    Hi there Tushar,

    I have some examples I can share with you with Hotjar, for both mobile and desktop sessions where the user has closed the popup but it continues to popup.

    I will share the sessions with you via the support link.

    Thanks,
    Matt
