• I have a file table with prettify off, but directory names are still being altered.

My actual directory names are lowercase with hyphens, e.g. my-file-directory. In the table, directory names show up as uppercase or with the first letter of each word capitalized, with spaces instead of hyphens, e.g. “MY FILE DIRECTORY” (in the actual table) or “My File Directory” (in the breadcrumbs in directory tree mode).

I would like to be able to disable this alteration and for my directory names to show up exactly as they are actually named.

I did, as I said above. Prettifying appears only to apply to file names, not directory names. That’s the bug I’m writing about.

There’s an earlier support question on this in which I provide instructions for modifying the source code. If you can find it, the answer is in there.
