    Greetings,

I installed your plugin for a client and I am wondering if I am missing a feature, or if not, maybe this is a feature request. My client tents to publish a post, then make edits and publish it again. This creates a new post on Facebook. Is there a setting that prevents this? I see the setting “Enable Instant Sharing Feature (Post on Publish)” which they do want turned on as they will forget to check it for new posts if it is not checked by default. So if there is not a setting, then for a feature request is there a way that the box gets unchecked after the post is published, that way it is shared once and future edits do not cause another share.

    Thank you!

    Hello @lowthian,

    Thank you for contacting us!

If you want to prevent resharing when updating a post, you can use the following workaround:

After the share is made, update the post with the Instant share options disabled, and they will remain like that.

    I hope this helps!

Thank you Irinel, that is what I have been teaching them, however there are numerous contributors and I can’t seem to get them to remember to do this.

So then this would be a feature request. It would be great to have a setting that when enabled would automatically toggle that option on the post after the post is published the first time. Thanks!
