• This plugin worked fine in the test phase, however when I deactivated it, I lost all my widgets, in the widget areas I coded in. Finnicky plugins like this shouldn’t be allowed to be distributed, I used this on a site I was developing at work, now I have to contact my hosting support, restore the site, do everything the hard way to work around this crappy plugin. All the while there is a client waiting for their new theme to be released.

  • Issue with widgets is how WP works, not related to this plugin. The plugin is designed to let you test development of new themes primarily, and not to “setup an entire site then switch it on…” — WP unfortunately does not keep widgets in place when switching themes, this has *always* been the case, and happens with all theme switching. So, criticism isn’t relevant here, for those reading this thread.

    Works for me.

Stop complaining about free stuff you’re not paying for or contributing to, when you don’t understand the issue ??
