    Thank you for contacting us.

Normally, our plugin does not allow a page to link back to itself.

Can you send us an example on how are you able to encounter the issue? Can you send the page link or the ILJ dashboard statistics that shows the link was generated by our plugin?

Let us know so we can help you further.

    Thank you

    Ah! You are correct.

This page itself is not linking to itself – https://ritvvij.parrikh.com/evergreen-notes/14062/

But when this article is printed on the homepage then it links. https://ritvvij.parrikh.com/ (scroll down to post number 3.

Any way to stop self-linking articles printed on the homepage?

Ah I see, this is a different approach.

May I know how you set this up could be a theme or a plugin and we will investigate?

    Thank you

These Gutenberg blocks allows one to print articles on the homepage itself https://imgur.com/a/euyjy5F

I see, We have checked this block and it seems that it is saving the other’s contents directly to the “the_content” field (it’s not being fetched thru a post loop), making it available for linking once more. So in this case, the home page is treated as a separate entity for linking, so that’s why our plugin is unable to prevent self-linking articles on the homepage.

    Thank you
