    Hello,

I created an article by mistake, it triggered the sending of a mailing (campaign).
I deleted the email in “reports” but I don’t think it worked and my subscribers are receiving emails.
I disabled the plugin to stop it, but I don’t think it stopped the sending.
I also tried to delete the audience (export and import).

I think it’s too late for me to stop the sending, so it won’t happen again, is there an emergency way to stop the email?
How to do that? or do you have another tip for me please?

    Thanks a lot

  • Hello Jackman,

Post Notifications get generated and dispatched based on CRON settings. If you setup CRON to check for emails every 15 minutes to send 30 emails in every batch, and you publish a post at 11:00 AM, the post notification will be generated immediately and sent to the queue. The queue gets dispatched at anytime between 11:00 AM to 11:15 AM in batches again as per email sending configuration (takes more time if there are already other campaigns in the queue). Say, if you have 240 subscribers in the list, the queue gets cleared within the next two and half hours.

You can delete a report even after a post notification is generated, but it will not stop the batches of emails which are already processed. Say, the first batch is already dispatched, the rest of the emails which are still in the queue will be dropped on the deletion of the report.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your answer,

under these conditions, would it be possible to add a function in the settings to add a delay before the first sending?
For security, so as not to repeat the error.

    Thank you for your help.
