Stop Site Lockout Notifications & Constant Spam

  • I get Site Lockout Notifications every day at https://www.TheWorldTraveled.com
    I did review previous posts and replies were more advanced then my working knowledge of how to do things.
    Can I please be given step by step, easy to follow directions on what to do, what to install, etc. so these stop?
    Is there an anti spam plugin should I use? I get 10 emails a day and I think these may be coming from ithemes security but I’m not really sure that is where these messages come from. It says that people keep trying to access my site and it blocks their login. It is a site lockout notification. I also have several hundred spam comments people have tried to make. I don’t know which pages are allowing people to leave these spam comments. How do I stop what I think are hackers trying to access my site?

    My current related plugins are:
    Akismet 3.0
    ithemes security 4.2.6

    I’m really not well versed in this so please offer easy to understand solutions. Thank you!
