  • the Gutenberg is just not ready to be the default. you need to put a transition period, or at least hear the users, and accept when you made a mistake.

    the same thing apple did with this snobby behavior, but at least they set standards. which happened after many fails though. one of the huge fails, was a trial period of floppy Zip disks and CDROMs, did not put floppy disks but replaced with unusable now Zip disks (100MB for a disk seemed revolutionary) however now no one uses. at least they accepted the fail and the Zip drive was replaceable.

    Gutenberg is probably destined to be step back a little more. and be replaced with optionality. it currently addresses only one thing, the competition of block builders. nothing else.

  • I can certainly understand that iterative change such as is ongoing with the Gutenberg project can be unsettling. Could share more details about what has been difficult to accomplish with Gutenberg?

    Gutenberg en su momento fue un proyecto complicado, pero la verdad al dia de hoy para los usuarios nuevos es lo mejor que nos paso, tenemos un editor completo y dia a dia mejora.

    Es entendible que en usuarios de hace a?os sea un enorme incoveniente y es el precio que WordPress tuvo que pagar por implementar una novedad que al dia de hoy ayuda facilmente a crear sitios web sin necesidad de pagar por Elementor o Divi.

    Personalmente estoy mas que agradecido por la implementacion de Gutenbeg especialmente porque es gratis, solo es cuestion de adaptar una plantilla gratuita creada por el equipo de WordPress y listos, aseguramos la continuidad del trabajo por décadas.
