Stop words removal feature not working

    I have deactivated all plugins apart from Rankmath. The stop words removal feature is still not working. The following is the list of stop words I have added to Rankmath to exclude from posts permalinks of my website https://gist.github.com/sebleier/554280

    Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused.

    To be honest, that feature doesn’t work as it used to be. That’s why we aren’t putting much time into fixing it.

    We have a good reason for that. We are going to remove that feature soon as after the BERT update – these traditional methods of doing SEOs no longer work.

    Google isn’t like it was a few years ago. The AI is taking over and Google can effectively read stop words and they even consider them while ranking pages. Which means, they no longer ignore stop words like they used to.

    So, you should stop worrying about that feature or about stopwords altogether.
