    Jetpack Mechanic ??

This is most likely happening because you’re not allowed to post iframe code in your posts. It could be because you’re an editor on the site, or because you’re an admin and your site is part of a multisite network.

If you’d like to be able to post iframe code in your posts, you’ll need to ask your multisite or site admin to enable the unfiltered_html capability for you.

    I hope this helps.

does jetpack automatically turns an iframe in to youtube short ie [youtube url_of_the_video?]

or put it in another way, if jetpack is installed then the short code that could play youtube videos is [youtube url_of_the_video]
    is this right?

That’s correct. Jetpack allows you to insert iFrames that will automatically converted into shortcodes if you’re not allowed to actually insert iFrames.

if jetpack is installed then the short code that could play youtube videos is [youtube url_of_the_video]

If Jetpack is installed, you have 3 ways to insert YouTube videos:

    • You can insert the video URL on its own line; the link will be converted into a video.
    • You can insert a shortcode, as you pointed out above: [youtube url_of_the_video]
    • You can insert the iFrame code, that will be converted into a shortcode if necessary.

    All 3 options are valid!

    just awesome ??

if any time need to disable the [youtube url_of_the_video] short code i assume that i just disable the jetpack shortcodes(Shortcode Embeds), correct?

    That’s correct.

I would personally recommend using the first option I listed above, as it is the simplest and easiest to use.
