Stopped compressing images

    Since 1st of October the plugin stopped compressing images, AND creating log files.
    Here is what I get from error_log of my WP installation:

    01-Oct-2019 18:12:11 UTC] Σφ?λμα Table ‘u347576676_santo.asstm_tasks’ doesn’t exist β?ση? δεδομ?νων WordPress για α?τηση SELECT * FROM asstm_tasks WHERE status = ‘active’ AND type = ‘smush’ απ? do_action_ref_array(‘autosmush_process_queue’), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, Updraft_Smush_Manager->autosmush_process_queue, Updraft_Smush_Manager->is_queue_processed, Updraft_Smush_Manager->get_pending_tasks, Updraft_Task_Manager_1_2->get_active_tasks, Updraft_Task_Manager_1_2->get_tasks

    …and this repeats many times.

    AFAIK trm_tasks and tm_taskmeta are not tables created by a normal WordPress installation. Deleting and reinstalling the plugin does not create those tables. What is the problem?

  • Hi,

    These tables are created by WP-Optimize and are necessary for the image compression to work.

    It appears that there is a bug if the tables were deleted.

    In the mean time, follow those steps and the tables should be restored:
    – deactivate WP-Optimize
    – In the database, delete the option updraft_task_manager_dbversion
    – Activate WP-Optimize.

    Let me know if this doesn’t work.
