Stopped handling og:image correctly

  • It worked well for a while, but now it consistently mishandles og:image such that FB refuses to use any image I include in the post, even if it surpasses FB’s image standards, because the plugin picks the wrong size. After Googling and discovering others with this issue, installed a different OGP plugin which worked out of the box. Too bad, this one had a nice run…

    thx for feedback. open beta is in support forums and works good and resolves that issue initially but needs to be a better solution – perhaps even creating a new image size as FB allows for the larger full-column width ones now in the news feed if available. it gets weird when trying to auto-crop and size peoples images.
