• Hi,

    I always received an email whenever someone posted a comment, which I then approved (or not). I can still see the comments and approve them as always, but a couple of weeks ago I stopped receiving the email. I haven’t made any changes to settings or installed any new plugins in that time. I think the only thing that happened was that WordPress was updated. If I remember correctly. It’s not showing up in my spam folder either.

    Double check your email under SETTINGS->GENERAL

    If that’s correct, you might try installing an SMTP plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/search/SMTP

    Yes, all the settings are correct and the same as they were before. I can try the plugin for sure, but I was wondering if you have any idea why it might’ve stopped working? Thanks!

    How about sending emails? Are they stopped too?

    I still receive other emails, such as when an automatic backup has been completed, or when plugins were updated.

    The only emails I send out is a weekly newsletter, which is done via MailChimp and that works fine. (If that’s what you meant.)

    I think the only thing that happened was that WordPress was updated.

    I did not experience this issue after updating to the latest WP 6.3.1

    Have you discussed this issue with your hosting provider? If not try discussing with them.
