Stopped working

  • This plugin was working smoothly on our site. However, it stopped working all the sudden. We’ve tried to rearrange products in admin panel. But new order was not actually saved while it said so. When we refresh the admin panel, it go back to the previous order.

    We did check menu_order of the product we moved, it changed from 515 to 514 after we moved it in rearrange plugin. However, this change doesn’t affect its order under category.
    We then manually set menu_order to 1000. This product moved to the end as we expected. The frontend shop page also shows the correct change. I believe it’s not theme issue in this case.
    We installed quite a few plugins. Is there any log we could check and find out whether it has conflict with other plugins? Or, is there any other test we should do to locate the cause of issue?

    Hello @harrisonwu2015 ,

    Which version of WordPress and Woocommerce are you using currently?
    Also can you confirm which is your default “Sort Order” inside Woocommerce Settings?
    You can find it under :

    Admin > Appearance > Customize
    Then select “Woocommerce” from left and go to “Product Catalogue”
    Now here check for “Default Product Sorting”.
    It should be set to “Default sorting (custom ordering + name)”

    Wordpress: 5.4.1

    Default Product Sorting is set to “Default sorting (custom ordering + name)”
    When we changed menu_order of product, the store front could properly reflect the change.

    However, the drag and drop products in rearrange plugin couldn’t save or change the actual order of sorting now.

    Can you try updating my plugin to latest version. I just published some updates Yesterday.
    See if that don’t work, I will have to do more investigation in your case.

    Thanks for the prompt response! I’ve just upgraded plugin to 2.3.0 and tested it again.

    The sorting order could not be saved and went back to original order after refresh.
    I also noticed that menu_order of test item didn’t change after I updated order in plugin.
