Stopped working

same here. cant even sign back into twitter smh

Tried hitting manual ‘Tweet Now!’ button, didn’t work either. Got an error at top of my Tweetily admin screen, as follows:

Tweet 0 : OOPS!!! problem with your URL shortning service. Some signs of error

But I’m not using any URL shortening service that I’m aware of. Or none that I’ve changed recently. Tweetily was working fine, then it stopped working.

Could we have suggestions how to fix please. Thanks.

I tried tweeting emailing & phoning the author (not stalking per his web site it is what to do) .. no answer and not working .. SHame it was a really great plugin …

Same here last automatic post was 3 days ago.
When using the button “post now” the following error occurs:

Do i need to find an other plugin?

It’s looking that way. If the author can’t be bothered to respond, there’s no support, so everything falls over. I’m gonna look see what else is available. Shame as it was an okay plugin. Will probably leave a low rating for above reasons.

Hi Sogwac, my findings are in this the posts I made in this thread. Tweetily has just stopped working, for no reason. It was working for two weeks, then it stopped. I didn’t change the settings or anything. Do you know why it might have stopped, and how I might get it working again?

OK I switched to tweet my post that seems to be working for now!….

Okay Sogwac, does that mean I have to uninstaLl ‘Tweetily’ and install ‘Tweet My Post’ plugin instead? Is that what you’re saying?

No worries. Tweetily just started working again for some reason. It’s resumed automatically tweeting posts at the times I set it to. No idea why it stopped then started again. Hopefully it doesn’t go on the blink again and all’s well that ends well. ??

I will keep using tweet my post for now and keep tweetily as a backup.
The oe thing I like about TMP is that the author can tweet at the time of posting and I don’t have to stop tweetitly repeatedly tweeting the same post.
