• This was working up until very recently and we’ve been using it for spelling differences between the US and the UK (or Europe) on the site a lot e.g. modernization -> modernisation.

It is now showing the European spelling in the US.
I’m in the UK and when I switched it around for testing, it tested ok – I can only view the error in the USA (getting someone to check it there – I’ll be getting a VPN on the USA side this week).
    Can you help?
I’ve had a couple of other things going wrong at the same time on the site but I don’t think it’s related to this (images not showing where they should be).
    Your help is appreciated.

and this morning, it’s showing ok for some of the tags, but not all. The spelling on the homepage has been fixed, but other pages are wrong
for example, our leadership team is different in the US than the UK and it’s showing the gb content in the US.

Given that it was working fine until recently, and that it’s being inconsistent on your site, it tells me the problem isn’t the plugin, but the site. You also mentioned that there are other problems on your site at the moment too.

If you can clear up all other inconsistencies on your site, solve those problems, likely this will fix the issues with this plugin too. There’s no reason whatsoever some instances will work on the plugin, while others don’t. It points to other problems elsewhere having a knock on effect.

As always, test by disabling all other plugins/themes. If it works, test re-enabling other plugins until it stops working. Then you’ve probably found your culprit. If you can’t do that, create a plain, stock-WordPress site and test it.
