Download and install the latest 1.9.0 version.
The Chrome issue should be fixed.

If you still have problems with the latest 1.9.1 on Chrome I’m suggesting you to set the quality of the video from ‘highres’ to ‘default’ letting Youtube choose for you what is the best quality for the displayed video related to the bandwidth and the player size.

It seams Chrome has problems if the video is set with an HD quality…

    Bye,
    Matteo

    Hi Matteo,

Had the same problem since wednesday or thursday last week. Based on your last post here, I deleted quality=”medium” from the shortcode, and everything seems to work fine now in Chrome.

    Just to let you know:
My YouTube video is HD. Now the shortcode option is removed, it seems like it doesn’t matter anymore what quality I choose in the adminpanel of the plugin, the video still plays well in Chrome.

    Thanks again!
