I was able to solve half of the problem. In my first version I included the image with an absolute path including “http”. Now I use a relative path to the image. It seems that the mix of “https” in the url and “http” in the image url caused the error.

Now it works under Firewox well. In Chrome there are display issues and IE11 isn’t able to show the panorama.

How did you do a relative path? For me I have to format it like this:

    [vrview img="https://natur-tyrol.at/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/filename.jpg" ]

Whenever I try something like the following, it won’t work:

    [vrview img="wp-content/uploads/2016/11/filename.jpg" ]

My website is currently set to enforce https.. so that might be part of the problem…

I think I figured out the problem. I thought it was enforcing https, but for some reason it was inconsistent and I had to update the .htaccess. Now everything is no https and it works! ??

    Hi!

I have the same problem: unable to load textures:

    https://detrasdelsensor.com/wordpress/

I’m uploading the image in the same server where I host my wordpress blog and also in another server linked with the full URL but with no luck.

External URL link with the image: https://www.calidadigital.com/imagenes/360/20170718183921.JPG

I tried different web browsers and also the HTTPS code but I always get the same error. Any help with this?

    Thanks and best regards!

Just to say ‘me too’. I guess this plugin no longer works properly. Image is at https://www.veletron.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/PANO_20170808_205131_9.jpg

but when I paste the shortcode using this image [vrview img=”https://www.veletron.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/PANO_20170808_205131_9.jpg”] the page just reports Error: Render unable to load texture…

Guess I have to give up!
