If after trying recaptcha still getting spams, then go install ‘Wp Armour’ plugin, I use that too to stop all spam.

Thanks for your reply, is there another way, i dont want to use Capcha, some of my older customers are not good with tech i want to make contacting our business as easy as possible. Is there a way to stop the hammers from using our email address? When the email arrives it has our email as the sender and not their email, how is that possible?

To protect personal data, hiding email addresses in the settings or replacing them with dummy addresses is strongly advised. You can also include screenshots.

I have a similar problem and I even tried disabling the Contact Form 7 plugin and still getting the same types of “Eric Jones” emails.
