Stops SVG’s from animating

    Sounds weird, but with AIO SEO activated my animated SVG doesn’t animate. As soon as I deactivate AIO SEO the SVG animates again.

    I’ve always used AIO SEO on all my and clients sites however with this client if I cant find a solution I’d be forced to use another plugin as the SVG needs to animate. I have no idea why this happens but its def this plugin interfering somehow.

    Using Uncode Theme & Custom SVGs.

    @omris83 try adding this code snippet to your child theme’s functions.php file – add_filter( 'aioseo_disable_shortcode_parsing', '__return_true' );

    @arnaudbroes Hi

    I have a problem which I didn’t notice till now. However, I updated AIO SEO this morning so not sure if this happened a week ago when you helped or since the update. I’m pretty sure its only since the update mind.

    On the page in question, whilst the SVG animates, I get this error message.

    Hey @omris83,

    Do you continuously see these warnings or did you only see them once? That code should only run once so if you’re seeing this on each page load, then you’re probably running into a bug.

    Technically they aren’t error messages. These warnings are thrown because you have the PHP Strict standards enabled, which is a ruleset that (I’m quoting the official PHP documentation here) “will enable PHP to suggest changes to your code which will ensure the best interoperability and forward compatibility of your code.”.

    It’s mainly meant for developers and not something you need to have enabled on production websites.

    @arnaudbroes I was seeing it all the time. Since messaging here I cleared server cache and it seems to have resolved itself. Sorry for the bother. Thanks for the quick reply again.
