• I use sitekit to setup analytics and search console for new websites. After a time, it stops tracking analytics for some reason. It has done this to me on at least 4 websites that I manage.

Now I’ll only use this plugin to set up new accounts, and then I deactivate it, and install Monster Insights or add the code manually.

@evanmatthews Sorry to hear your Analytics has stopped tracking for you. In other cases there were third party plugins impacting the Site Kit placed Analytics snippet, in particular plugins with minification or asset combining features.

In your case I’d be happy to troubleshoot this issue with you if you’d like to share the URL for one of the sites you referenced. Alternatively I can provide some troubleshooting steps that may help pinpoint the cause.

We’d really love an opportunity to investigate this so please do let me know if you have any questions with the above. In addition you may be interested to check whether your sites Analytics is firing as expected with the plugin placed snippet by using tagassistant.google.com.
