I tried sdaveCL’s solution, and it fixed the widgets not opening/dragging problem, but editing limitations in Widget Logic Visual still doesn’t work. Is this still not working for anyone else?

I’m able to edit limitations just fine with that fix.

Double check you’ve done it properly then clear your browser cache and see if it works.

I ended up just using Widget Logic (regular), but clearing the cache helped. Thanks!

I don’t want to fool around with an obsolete plugin so I am looking for a replacement.

Who are the developers of widget logic? Dont they have time to release an update. The plugin is so good that i dont want any alternative.

It is a pity that the developers seem to have stopped updating this plugin as it is one of the most useful ones and frankly there is no easy way to implement an alternative one when maintaining a bunch of sites.

Hope they keep on developing the plugin.

This worked for me also. So either __i__ or XXX worked for me.

Any plan to commit this change to the current version? Or has the author bailed on this plugin?

I made the changes – thanks -. All sites are good except one. On that one site, I can access but the drag and drop functionality is gone. Any ideas, in really simple terms pls, as to what I can check.

I deactivated and deleted this plugin hoping it would allow access to the widgets again but I’m still not able to use widgets any more on my site.

Does anybody know how to get this fixed. I thought by deleting the plugin it would fix the problem but it looks like it’s messed up the widget section and need to make it go back to how it was before installing this awful plugin.

It seems to be working again now. Hope that’s the end of it lol.
