stops working when you upgrade from PHP 5.6 to 7.X
-
We used this plugin quite happily and with great success with sites on PHP 5.6. But once we upgraded those sites to PHP 7.X this year, this plugin just stopped working. It’s a shame because it used to work perfectly fine. Clients found it easy to use and loved using this tool to automatically expire different things within WordPress.
UPDATE: At some point this started working again. I have no idea what the pattern is/was at this point. But I don’t want to leave a 1 star review here, so I’ve changed it to 4. It was broken on a few sites for us for almost a year. But now it’s been working fine for about a year. Very happy with the plugin when it works. Perhaps it was something quirky with the early versions of PHP 7.0/7.1.
