Stops working without message

  • Hi. I have worked with contact form without problems, but suddenly it has stopped working and only shows the message (orange) that could not be sent and that the administrator is contacted.
    No changes were made to the server.

  • What version of CF7 are you using. Version 4.8 has known issues and you should rollback to version 4.7 or earlier.

    How do we rollback to version 4.7? What’s the process? Where do we find earlier versions?

    The version 4.7 is not available online. At least not through the WordPress plugin site. You basically should use a backup version. Hopefully you have a backup saved somewhere before you update to CF7 4.8. You can then use the older version and overwrite the files using a FTP.
