  • Usually such an error indicates the Page ID is the underlying issue. Sometimes it is because the ID was misspelled, non-existent account, or from a restricted account. It could also indicate use of an improper access token.

The first check to make is to determine if either you page ID or access token is the underlying issue. Copy and paste each (as you have them entered in your plugin settings) into the form on our demo page here which allows you to test them both individually and together to see if they are working.

If they both test out OK then please submit a support ticket here along with your plugin’s System Info which will allow us to troubleshoot the underlying issue further.

You will find your plugin’s System Info by going to your: WordPress DashBoard – Facebook Feed – Settings – Support (tabbed page) – select all text in the info box, copy and paste your ‘System Info’ into your support request.

In the meantime, I hope your weekend is going great.

    Hey suay,

We have an error message reference here (which is linked to under the error message you see on your site) which provides solutions for any Facebook API error you may be receiving. As David mentioned, this is usually related to the Facebook page having a restriction on it (age or location) which means that the data is not accessible via the Facebook API.

This review seems like it would be better suited as a support request – especially as the issue isn’t caused by the plugin but by your Facebook page itself. We offer quick and effective support to all users of this free plugin – even on weekends – all you have to do is ask! There is a WordPress support forum here, or you can request support through our website for free too. We also have a large library of searchable help documentation on our website.

If you get back to us with the info David requested then we can help you get this issue resolved right away. And to anyone else reading this who may have an issue – just ask us for help!
