Storage Issue – Will plugin replace AND delete the source file?

Do we have the option to save or delete to source file?

Reason being, in WP Engine my sites storage is currently 14+GB, mostly from images taken at events in blog posts. These images currently exceed 4000px – h/w.

Ideally I’m looking for a solution to scale down all the images in media folder to 800px max h/w, then delete the source files to bring that number down.
