Storage of multiple sizes of one image

Although this isn’t effecting me at present – I’m just starting a new website for an artist – I see this is an issue for some users, so may become an issue for me.
When an image is uploaded, this plugin creates versions of that individual image in every size that could be used in a WP Canvas gallery. I find I use only 2 or at most 3 of the sizes available – one size for the “thumbnail” on the web page (“Size” in the Gallery Settings), and another larger size for the pop-up image (“Pop-up Size” in the Gallery Settings). It would be nice to have a settings/options page for this plugin in which we could select those image sizes we intend to use, which would then cause the plugin to create only those versions of any given image, thus reducing the amount of space used on our hosts for storing images.
