Hello. I have ditched all wp-ecommerce options in favor of marketpress. I am currently testing out the lite version and cannot change the store base url from the default store page it automatically creates. I want the store base page to be one I already have created on my site. I can change all other urls but it will not let me change the base. How come? Are we forced to use the store page the plugin creates?

  • Hi,
I posted yesterday about the store not showing up on my site after install. I haven’t gotten a response yet and was wondering if you have gotten it loaded? I watched the YouTube vids but I didn’t see any mention of actually how to get a store tab. Is it suppose to be automatic?

Thanks, and I hope you get your problem solved!

    Hi Dennis,

Thanks for posting here! You can definitely change the /store/ slug and the page contents used for that.

    Simply go here:

Products > Store Settings > Presentation

At the bottom of the page, you’ll see the Store URL Slugs section where you can change the base url slug.

Once you change that, you can go to the Store page the plugin creates and then edit that as you like. Just like any other page.

How does that work for you?

    Cheers, David
