Store Distance not showing correctly

    Everything works fine except for the distance. My default location is NY and all stores across the country are showed from there. Now if I search by Zipcode – 94088 (San Jose,CA), the nearest stores in California are displayed at the top of the list correctly but the distance in the list still shows 1000 miles instead of 5-10 miles. The distance is getting displayed only from the default location. Do I have to enable any new Google API from the console or make any other changes?
