Store Listings with Different Names but duplicate address do not appear

  • Hello, we use store locator to show a map of physicians to our users.
    Quite frequently, multiple physicians will practice at the same clinic/location.
    We prefer to make individual listings for each physician, but input their clinic’s location in their individual store.
    Duplicate listings with different physician names and the same address are not showing up when searching for that location. Is there any way to fix this so that all results appear, to see both store listings even though they have the same address?

    Ex.

    Store Listing 1:
    Dr. Smith
    Smith Health Clinic
    123 Main St.
    Toronto, Canada

    Store Listing 2:
    Dr. Johnson
    Smith Health Clinic
    123 Main St.
    Toronto, Canada

    If you search store locator for Toronto, Canada, only Dr. Smith’s store listing will appear.

  • Hi there,

    This has been an issue for other users as well. As you have probably found out, if two stores share the exact same coordinates, only one of those stores will show.

    The only workaround for this is to slightly modify the coordinates on one of the stores so it is a bit off the exact point where the other is. This is not a very elegant solution, but it works.
