• I have my locator map set to load all stores on page load, so when it loads, it spans out to show all of my stores across the country and beyond. One of our sales people noticed that since we have (for example) two stores in Denver, you have to zoom in close enough until you can see both markers to click on them to pull up the store details.

Is there a way in the plugin (when in the case of multiple stores in one city) show only one marker until you get close enough, that when you click on it, it will pull up the store details for every store in that city?

    What is the url?

What you describe sounds like normal behavior of the markers. If you zoom out they will partly be placed on top of each other and when you zoom in more show up. But if I can have the url I can check it myself.

    Hey Tijmen,

The link to the page is https://thegalleysink.com/find-a-galley-showroom/

I realize that, but what I’m asking is if there’s a way to modify the plugin to display a popup box for every dealer if someone doesn’t zoom in closer to separate the markers up. One of or sales guys is asking if this can be corrected and we had a customer in San Antonio who pointed out the same concern. Some people will not zoom in and simply click on one marker and at present, only get one box for one dealer, when there is two or three markers behind that one for others.

With the popup box you mean the info window that opens once you clicked on the marker? Opening it won’t solve the problem since they will pretty much overlap if the markers are placed to close to each other.

I think one way to solve the problem is by enabling the cluster markers on the settings page. That way markers that are close to each other will be merged, and a number is shown to tell the user how many markers are behind the merged marker.

You can enable them on the settings page -> Enable marker clusters. You probably have to try different settings for the ‘Max zoom level’ and ‘Cluster size’ to get it the way you want to.
