“store.php” template customization issue

    I need to customize vendor’s store page, but when I copy the store page template from wp-content/plugins/dokan-lite/templates/store.php to wp-content/themes/storefront/dokan/store.php, the page at example.com/store/example-shop is taking forever to load, supposedly due to some infinite loop, and when it finally stops, supposedly due to timeout, it has this infinite nesting of <main> tags:
