• Hi
I’m looking for a plugin that will allow a user to tap in a postcode, find stores (think Pizza delivery) near to them, select their preferred store and then have that stores address placed in the woocommerce checkout page.

    So…
    Enter site
    Type in postcode
    (approx 5 nearest stores popup)
    Select preferred store
    enter shop.

When they get to the cart the store name and address is there so they know where to collect from

I have found a wordpress plugin that can locate closest stores etc but can’t see a way of transferring that to woocommerce

    Anhy help appreciated.

  • It wouldn’t take much to store that info in a cookie and then execute some jquery in the checkout page to pull the data out of the cookie and fill in the fields. Of course, I’d need to know what plugin you were using for store lookup to tell you how to store the data (or maybe it’s already being stored)

    Hi Bheadrick

    Thanks for the reply.

I have been using Store Locator plugin but there are loads I could use that all do pretty much the same thing. How will I know if the plugin is storing data, as I could try some alternatives?

    Thanks again

    Hi Bheadrick

I am still stuck with this if there is anything you can help with. I ideally just need to know what to put where and the best plugin to use.

I’m using Store locator at the moment but not sure how to place the postcode search on the front of the site.

Appreciate any help and willing to pay if it is a bigger job than you first thought.

I’m using ‘the retailer’ wordpress theme if that helps

    Thanks in advance
