Storefront Elegance slider not working!

I’m a WordPress newborn. I can not get the slider in Storefront Elegance to work at all. No pictures display, only the progress bar. I’ve looked at tutorials, I feel like I’m going through the steps right… but something’s wrong. I even tried manually installing the jquery.nivo.slider.pack.js

Any suggestions?
