Storefront – Product Page Social Icons…

  • When I click on a product in my Store, it takes me to the individual product page, which apparently is generated by WooCommerce since it’s not a page I created. On that page, there are 4 social media icons that I cannot figure out how to modify or remove, so I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction…

    Could you provide a link to one of your product pages? To remove this entirely, you could just add a display:none; custom-css rule, or there is possibly a setting within your theme for the social icons. Also, is this the theme that you’re using – https://www.ads-software.com/themes/storefront/?

    Sorry for the delay…I’ve been traveling a lot the past month. Here is a link to my product page.

    Also, In the weight dropdown, the font is really light (along with some other areas)…how would i change this font color/brightness??

    Doesn’t look like you’re using Storefront. I recommend contacting your theme author.

    The main theme is Avada, with WooCommerce integrated (plugin). It’s the way Avada delivers their theme, and then I selected a WooCommerce Storefront theme as the choice for my store.

    You can only have one theme activated at once and that’s definitely not Storefront.

    Yes, I am aware that with WordPress you can only have one theme!! Are you aware of how Avada integrates WooCommerce?? Apparently not, or you would know what i am talking about. If you cannot offer any help, then a reply is not necessary.

    No need for the harsh tone, I think he is only pointing out that there is no reference to the Storefront theme. All the styles etc on that page are controlled by the Avada theme :-

    /wp-content/themes/Avada/assets/css/woocommerce.css

    If your wanting to remove the socials in the review tabs and lighten the text in the select box this is controlled around line 2514 this CSS should suffice :-

    .wp-social-login-widget {display:none}
.woocommerce .avada-select-parent select {color: #000;}

    You will need to add this into a child theme otherwise when you update your Avada theme these changes will be overwritten.

    @dmsimmons69 Are you aware that you’re posting in the Storefront support forum? Your issue has nothing to do with Storefront.

    So like I said originally, I recommend contacting your theme author ??

    Thanks @j… That’s all I was looking for! I wasn’t aware of how Avada was handling the integration of WooCommerce. Thanks again! If I have any other questions, I’ll move over to the Avada forum.
