storefront sanitize hex color deprecated error

Hello friends,

Please i need help with this error, its showing on the front page of my site

“Notice: storefront_sanitize_hex_color is deprecated since version 2.0! Use sanitize_hex_color instead.”

I have done everything i can but its still there, i even had a fatal error while trying to resolve this. Please i need the right code to resolve this error.
