Stories Editor Not Usable

One more item. Here is a link to a screen shot of the console output for that page. Not sure if that will help but there are a couple of errors that are coming across.

@mattatnicolebarkerva Thank you so much for your detailed report. Could you tell me if the issue occurs when only Web Stories has been enabled? This could be the results of a plugin or theme conflict.

You can safely test this by using the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and enabling its troubleshooting mode. This mode disables active plugins and switches to a default theme safely because it only affects the experience of the logged-in user.

– Please enable the Web Stories plugin and let me know if you still get the issue.
– Enable plugins and your theme one by one in this mode may help pinpoint if something else is involved.
– Note you can disable troubleshooting mode from the plugins page.

Could you also provide your Site Health information or privately via this form so I can have a closer look at the user’s set up as well?

Hi! Thank you for the advice on how to troubleshoot. I did find the conflicting plugin. The plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pinterest-pin-it-button-for-images/ was causing the issue that rendered the editor useless. It appears this plugin is no longer available because of a copyright issue or something so it’s likely outdated. I switched to a different Pinterest Pin It plugin and the issues all resolved themselves.

I would say their likely isn’t much for the dev team to do here since the conflicting plugin is out of date.
