• I am looking for a plugin that I can use to help facilitate further use of WordPress as a CMS system. Basically I want a plugin that allows me to store basic information that can be called anywhere within the pages, such as a phone number or address. I would like to have an admin options page that is not tied specifically with any certain theme so that when themes are changed, the features are still present. This would allow updating of options (such as updating a phone number) without having to have a certain theme selected.

I have found a few that add “custom fields” to the write/edit pages. However, that is not what I seek. I need something that has its own admin options page and is not tied to a theme. I also would love for it to be accessible by Editor or higher only.

    Thanks,
    Ed
