• I keep seeing activity from a certain IP that is suspicious but when I try to block it I get this error:

The IP address 66.220.146.25 is whitelisted and can’t be blocked or it is in a range of internal IP addresses that Wordfence does not block. You can remove this IP from the whitelist on the Wordfence options page.

I have no whitelisted IPs. What is this IP and why won’t WordFence let me block it.

The person that is accessing from this IP is also accessing from Italy — looks very suspicious

I’ve had something similar when I accidently hit block on a Sucuri site check…. seems the Sucuri servers are inherently whitelisted by Wordfence.

    Hi clamoreaux,
This IP belongs to Facebook (check whois result here) and all Facebook servers’ IPs are whitelisted by default in Wordfence.

However, could you please share a screenshot showing exactly this IP activity log? just to make sure everything is looking normal.

    Thanks.
