• Hello,

I really love your plugin. It is exactly what I need and I am using it in several places on my website. I’d like to mention that I am having a problem that I am hoping you will be willing to look into. It is the strangest thing. I am also using another plugin called “WordPress Responsive Thumbnail Slider”. And, when I deactivate that plugin, your plugin will no longer work. It behaves as if your shortcode is no longer registered as a shortcode after I deactivate the slider plugin.

I have tried many experiments with the order in which I activate or deactivate both plugins. For instance, a) with your plugin activated, I deactivated the slider plugin, and your plugin stops working, b) with your plugin deactivated, I deactivated the slider plugin, and your plugin stops working, c) after deactivating the slider plugin, I deactivated and re-activated your plugin, and your plugin stops working, etc. But, I have not found any combination of activating and deactivation the plugins that leaves your plugin in a working state when the slider plugin is deactivated.

I have had this problem for a quite a while now, at least a year, and now the only reason I keep this stupid slider plugin installed and activated is so that I can continue to use your plugin. I want very much to get rid of the slider plugin because I don’t like it and I am using a different slider now, but if I deactivate it, then I can’t use your List Category Posts plugin ??

It may very well turn out to be a bug in the deactivate processing of the slider plugin, but I can’t really ask the developer of the slider plugin to look into why your plugin stops working after their plugin is deactivated. I am using a few other plugins that also use shortcodes and those plugins and shortcodes still work correctly after I deactivate the slider plugin.

Would there be any chance you could look into this problem for me? I would recommend making a backup of your database before installing the “WordPress Responsive Thumbnail Slider” for testing purposes.

Thank you very much for your time, I look forward to your response.
